3/30/2006 Cafe LaloI had been wanting to go to this cafe called "Cafe Lalo" for quite a long time since I came to NY. It's famous from the movie "You've got mail". I finally had a chance to go there the other day. It was a small, cute place. They have so many desserts it's hard to choose just one. I tried an Oreo cheesecake which was not too sweet and very delicious  I will definitely go back again and try other sweets  3/28/2006 MoMAI went to MoMA the other day. They are showing Edvard Munch now which was very interesting.
I was walking around the "drawing" section. I have to say... there were some drawings that could've been drawn by a little kid or people with no drawing skill. I'm an art student so maybe I should've been like, "Woo this is so deep, I can feel the soul of the artist," but all I could think was, "Why is this here at MoMA?" I think even if I hang some crappy drawing neatly up on the wall, some people would actually appreciate it just because it's in the museum. It's brainwashing in a way.

... or can I ...? 3/8/2006 When I came out of the barI had a book on QuarkXPress with me. This guy who saw me carrying the book said, "Quark is easy! Just click "Apple key" and "Q" !!" That's a shortcut key for"Quit" dude... 3/7/2006 When I only get one hour sleepI found out that I could fall asleep on the easel while drawing the model. |
